My Refund Policy hen somebody charges you money for a product or a service, you have a right to know his refund policy. Here you go!My policy has three parts, or "steps" toward getting you a final deliverable you're overjoyed with: STEP 1: Your initial 50% deposit to reserve your spot on my schedule is non-refundable. If that seems unfair to you, it's not. In fact, it's as "standard" as anything gets in the writing industry. So why do writers do this? Simply because there are some people (not you, I'm sure) who would reserve a spot on my schedule, get the final deliverables from me, think the writing is fantastic...and ask for a refund. They would get great writing for free, I would get nothing, and I wouldn't be able to get the time back.
Working with Roy on my new product was a fantastic experience, so much so I've already booked him for my next project and ditched a couple of my other freelance writers.
None of them have ever done as much research or invested as much time and effort into a project, and I'm glad I have finally found someone I can rely on to create fantastic information products. Roy is a true professional and an excellent writer, and I can't recommend him enough. Steven J. STEP 2: If you're not happy with the "final" deliverables, I ask that you give me the chance to make you happy. Hey, sometimes I don't hit a home run the first time. All I ask is that you give me a chance to try again. And I make this easier for you in three ways:
STEP 3: If I can't make you happy, you don't owe me the last 50%. It's that simple. Having you pay 50% up front protects us both—I don't put in the sweat and hours for free, you don't pay 100% for something you don't want. Again, feel free to look at my portfolio to see samples of my work. That'll show you the quality you'll get when you retain me to work on your project.
